Vertex School Student Words About Ben
Game Art Program alumni Jess Latch was mentored by Ben, read what Jess had to say about being mentored by Ben below.
“The mentors at Vertex were kind, encouraging, and flexible. I got sick for 2 out of the 9 months of the program, including a very difficult surgery. They were able to provide extensions, and my mentor Ben Merrick took time out of his own schedule to work with me for a couple of weeks beyond the deadline.
I would recommend Vertex School. The school, mentors, and alumni all care very much about your success. You get out of it what you put into it. You still have to work very hard. You have to finish your projects. You have to ask for help when you need it. But, they give you all the tools you need to succeed.”
At Vertex School, you get to learn directly from experienced industry professionals like Ben! We are so grateful to have Ben as a Vertex School mentor.
